The National Farmworkers Jobs Program (NFJP) assists those who have been farmworkers and their dependents:
- Stabilize or advance in their agricultural job
- Obtain employment in a new industry

No-Cost On-Farm Training
- First Aid & CPR
- Food Safety
- OSHA
- Pesticide
Training for Internal Promotions
- Financial help for on-the-job training
- Adult basic skills training including English as a Second Language
- Tuition assistance for eligible farmworkers and their dependents to acquire job-related skills
Benefits for Farmworkers
Services Might Include:
- Job and classroom training (GED, English as a Second Language, job-related training, tuition assistance)
- Individual Employment Planning to help navigate career and training pathways
- Supportive services (transportation, work clothing, tools, housing, and childcare)
- Emergency assistance
Individuals May Qualify If:
They or anyone in their household has worked as a farmworker in the past 24 months
- They are 18 years of age or older
- They are authorized to work in the United States
- They are a dependent of a farmworker
- They meet income guidelines (if a member of their household receives TANF, SSI, or SNAP
Farmwork May Include:
- Raising livestock, bees, animals, or poultry
- Farming of fish
- Farming operations
- Handing, planting, drying, packing, processing, freezing, or grading of agricultural/horticultural commodities
