At Northwest Michigan Works!, we believe education opens the door to better career opportunities and personal growth. Our Adult Education program offers free, year-round services for adults (age 18+) who want to strengthen skills, earn credentials, or prepare for further education — all at their own pace with individualized support.
- High School Diploma Completion: Work toward earning your diploma with structured support
- High School Equivalency Test Prep (GED®): Prepare for the GED exam with instruction and practice
- English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes: Improve your English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
- Basic Skills Development: Build your reading, math, and writing skills to increase confidence and career readiness
- Computer & Technology Skills: Learn essential computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office tools used by local employers
