Unemployment Information for Employers
Self-employed, gig worker or 1099-independent contractors affected by COVID-19? Apply for federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) at michigan.gov/UIA to receive the set $600 federal weekly payment. The PUA application is available through the customers MiWam account. The customer would select the “For Employees” button from the UIA website.

Small Business Development Center COVID-19 Resources
The Michigan SBDC provides confidential, no-cost consulting, training, and market research services to new and existing businesses across the state of Michigan.
